157 Old Bristolians, gave their lives.

This website has been set up by the Bristol Grammar School Archives Department to remember and honour the Old Bristolians who served during the First World War. It is very much a work-in-progress, as in-complete records are being corrected and expanded. The research and information presented here is the result of 4 years of work to bring the Roll of Service and the Roll of Honour up to date, as many OBs slipped through the net at the time.

If you would like to find out more about the project and our research, there are more details in the About Us section, or you can contact us directly. If you have any information or feedback about the website or the OBs featured on the website, we would love to hear from you at archives@bgs.bristol.sch.uk. Links to the School website, and to the OBs website can be found in Contact Us.

All photos and film are the property of the Archives Department, unless otherwise stated, and we would ask that should you wish to use them elsewhere, that you credit their origin.
