Edmonds, Clifford Leslie

Son of Frederick W. Edmonds, chocolate cream worker, and Julia Edmonds, of 32 Thingwall Park, Upper Eastville. Younger brother of Frederick and Reginald Victor.

 

Edmonds was born on 04/12/1895, and attended the School from 1908-1912. He served as a Corporal in the Army, with the Gloucestershire Regiment "B" Coy. 12th Bn.. Edmonds sadly lost his life on 10/10/1917, as a result of the War.

 

Edmonds is remembered on Tyne Cot Memorial, Belgium, Panels 72 to 75.

"is reported killed, but no details are available. He went from the School to Bristol University, where he took a first-class in Classics."
